From the offset it can be seen that there's still chemistry and being the only two singletons in the group they are automatically grouped together which in the end saves a lot of sneaking around. Julia anticipates seeing her childhood sweetheart but tells herself that the feelings are no longer there … and Adam can’t wait to see Julia to see if she’s still as beautiful and unattainable as before. Now the camp is closing down and as a favour to their friends once again they come together to save the camp. It’s a fun read and perfect for summertime. Neither of those things can deduct enough points for me to not like the story. I also felt the pacing of the story, especially the last 25%, was off. I understand that her heart was wavering and that she couldn’t decide on things, but this concept seemed muddled. At times I found Julia’s inner conflict confusing or contradictory. We experience old cabins, mosquitoes, water skiing, sneaky trips trough the trees for a secret rendezvous. If this title is any indication of her abilities as an author, I can see why she’s been so successful.I enjoyed the camp grounds setting. more ce 1993 and has over sixty books released! Oh my goodness. Kate Hoffman has been writing for Harlequin sin. Friends, steamy sex scenes, and the question of - will these two people end up together in the end? A nice read.
